About UpTrack
UpTrack is AI A&R for electronic music. We score your mix against genre references in 60 seconds, then match it to the labels in our 600-strong directory whose A&R criteria it actually fits — with verified demo submission contacts for each.
Why We Built This
Producers spend years learning to mix. The harder problem comes after: figuring out which labels would actually sign the track, and how to reach them. The answer is usually a manual research grind, blind submissions to LabelRadar, or asking around on Reddit.
UpTrack flips that. We use mastering-engineer signal processing — loudness metering, frequency balance, stereo correlation, arrangement structure, rhythm consistency — to pre-screen your track against 16 electronic genres, then match the result to labels whose published genre, BPM, and quality criteria it fits. Score is the diagnostic. The label list is the next action.
How It Works
5 Analysis Categories
Loudness, frequency balance, stereo image, structure, and rhythm — each scored independently against genre references.
16 Electronic Genres
Every genre has different loudness targets, frequency curves, and stereo expectations. Our analysis adapts to yours.
600+ Label Matches
Matched by genre, BPM range, and quality score — each with verified demo submission contacts.
Privacy First
Audio files are automatically deleted within 7 days of analysis. We never share or sell your music.
Our Technology
UpTrack's analysis engine uses signal processing libraries including librosa, scipy, and pyloudnorm to measure your track across dozens of technical dimensions. Each measurement is compared against genre-specific reference profiles built from professional releases.
The scoring system uses a penalty-based approach — starting from 100 and deducting points for specific issues — with diminishing returns to avoid over-penalizing tracks that have multiple problems in the same category. Critical issues (like clipping or severe phase cancellation) are flagged separately.
Platform Compliance
Every analysis includes compliance checks against 7 major streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Beatport, Tidal, Amazon Music, and Deezer. Each platform has different loudness normalization targets, and we show you exactly how your track will be treated on each one.
Who Built This
UpTrack was built by Max Degrand, an electronic music producer and software engineer. After years of submitting tracks blindly to labels and mailing lists, he built UpTrack to bring two things together that nothing else did: genre-calibrated mix scoring, and a curated, contact-verified directory of the labels actually worth submitting to.
